I saw this on Pinterest and HAD to post it! Haha

Stillwater, Cowboys, and a Helicopter

December 17th, the first Saturday in over 2 months that I actually had off. It was wonderful! And I probably won't get another one off for another 2 months. It was filled with lots of fun, seeing great friends, and getting to check something off of my bucket list.

I started out my day by driving to my favorite small town Stillwater, Oklahoma. I do have a small bias to this wonderful little town since it is where I spent my college years. It's always nice to go back and remember all the fun times I had.

I was going to watch my bestie CP graduate!

I hadn't seen her in over two months so this visit was a must!

I had so much fun catching up with her and watching her walk. It was great to lock arms with another OSU grad and sing the Alma Mater. It is something we did/do at the end of every sports event and graduation. It took me back. I MISS COLLEGE!!

After spending the day with CP I drove back home to go to one of my other friends, Mrs. Money's graduation party.

She is so fun!

Both of these girls did a great job decorating their caps! It makes me wish I had decorated mine when I graduated. Taylor also had the cutest cake! It proudly displayed our beloved Pistol Pete for us Cowboy grads!

Mrs. Money's graduation party was at her uncle's helicopter hanger with just a few close family members and friends. Sounds weird and I'm sure your thinking "a graduation party in a tin building?" but it is nothing like that. This helicopter hanger has an entire apartment upstairs and a full kitchen/bar downstairs. It's a really cool place to have get togethers. If you hadn't figured it out, her uncle has a helicopter hanger because he has his own helicopter! Since there were only about 15 of us there he offered to give rides over the city to look at the Christmas lights. So of course I took up his offer!!

Taylor and I went together and had a blast!

I have always wanted to ride in a helicopter but never really thought I would ever have a chance! One more thing to check off my bucket list. This is the second one that I have checked off with Mrs. Money! Maybe its a sign I need to hang out with her more! :) Love her!

The city was beautiful! I took a dozen pictures or so but I figured I would only post my two favorites! So here they are! Enjoy!

A Merry Little Christmas

I love Christmas!! Sadly, We didn't get to really participate in the Family Christmas get togethers until Christmas Day because I had to close at work on Christmas Eve. The Hubby and I slept in a little on Christmas morning and then loaded up the car to head back to our home town.
Me and Roxy enjoyed the 2 hour drive together.

We spent the first half of the day with the Hubby's side. He is an only child so it was us and his parents. It was nice since we were trying to keep Roxy calm so she didn't mess up her knee. I got a chocolate bar dressed as a snowman.

It is a great stocking stuffer or quick little present when you need a lot of them.

I also got a cute picture of the hubby as a little kid and money.

This is probably my favorite picture of the hubby as a little kid. So cute! And he still has the exact same smile! :) And money is never a bad gift! I think I'm going to use it to buy a new car radio/cd system. Mine doesn't seem to like CD's anymore and I can't hook up my iPhone.

We spent the rest of Christmas with my family. Mine is a little bit bigger with having 3 sisters, a brother in-law, and my parents in just my immediate family. It was nice to spend half days because we got to spend time with everyone.

I think the best part about the entire day was getting to spend time with the love of my life and my best friend! I love this man and feel so blessed that he is apart of my life! :)

Furbaby Surgery

Yes, it's true. My little cutie had surgery on the 20th. I honestly think it was harder on me than on her.

She looked so sad when we first picked her up! I wanted to cry.

Roxy has luxating patellas and so they did surgery on her back left leg to fix it. Poor puppy was not happy the first two days! All she did was lay there and give you pitiful looks or sleep.

She is a spoiled little thing though bc she always had mommy or daddy to snuggle with!

We love her and hate to see her in any kind of pain! I was very thankful for my amazing friend Katie who walked me through the entire thing since she had been through it twice with her furbaby. Pretty sure I might have gone crazy had she not been there telling me what to expect and what was normal. Lol such a wonderful friend!!

I just love this last picture of her!

"It's OK" Thursday 5

It's OK

... To still have all our wall clocks say its an hour later than it really is. I know the time change happened almost 2 months ago but hey... What can I say.. We usually just look at our phones anyways! Lol

... To bring home a big to-go bowl of Ted's queso meant for 4-6 people and have the Hubby and I eat the entire thing in one night! Yummy!!

... To be a little orange after putting too much self tanning lotion on. Whoops! Lol

... To be insanely jealous and want to cry like a little kid because not only did the Hubby get to go to Stilly and get tickets to the bedlam game while I had to work but now he is going to Arizona for 4 days to tailgate at the Fiesta Bowl as well as might get tickets to go to the actual game.. SO UNFAIR! :(

... To want to punch a customer in the face for being insanely rude!! Don't worry I didn't fall into the temptation.

... To still not have any Christmas presents bought yet. I have a list I just haven't bought the things on the list as of right now.  :)

... To be stressed about our little furbaby's surgery next week! How could anyone want this little cutie to go through that?!

The Little Present Monster

The other day I came home to find this...

Why yes... Someone had found her present under the tree. The same present that had been sitting under the same tree for over two week. Roxy decided WHY WAIT?! Lol I tried really hard to stay mad but how could I not laugh at the fact that it took her over two weeks to notice the present and I'm sure a whole 2 seconds to tear it to shreds!

I think I was a little less upset since it was her present to begin with and not someone else's. You can see the little pink dog in the bottom left corner of this picture.

What's even funnier is from the tissue paper strung out all across the floor I assume she decided that it was more fun than her actual toy. Typical dog I guess.. Typical kid too if you compare the tissue paper to a card board box. Lol

The best part is it made my day. I was having a bad day and you would think that coming home to that mess would just make it way worse... But it didn't! I scolded her, cleaned it up, and then sat down and laughed as I sent the pics to the Hubby.
