Childhood Memory
This post actually came at the perfect timing! My Granny had an amazing photo collection of all of us growing up and since she has gotten older we decided it was best if we divided all the pictures up among us grand kids. I actually got my box of pictures Sunday and had the chance to go through them and found a picture that is perfect!
This picture is of one of my fondest childhood memories. It's of my Grampy, older sister, and me at the beach. My family went to the beach in Corpus Christi Texas every year with my Granny and Grampy. This year they decided to take my older sister and I for a week just the two of us before the rest of my family came up. It was great! We went during the school year and my mom being the homeschool teacher she was we had to keep up with our school work! So my Grampy worked everyday that week with me on my math. This is one of the few memories I really have of him truly healthy before he got sick. It was one of the best weeks of my life!
If you were wondering, I'm the one on the left. Lol

Photo Challenge Day 8
A Bad Habit
This is something that I have always loved and will eat anytime I can but recently this has become a real BAD habit. I have been getting ice cream on my break at work...
Not everyday! But probably at least once a week... Which is almost just as bad! Haha I usually get a mini blizzard from the Dairy Queen in the mall because it's not too expensive but today I decided to spend the little extra and get me some Baskin Robbins!
And of course I got CHOCOLATE! YUM!

Photo Challenge Day 6
From A Low Angle
I know I'm supposed to be taking pictures everyday but I'm going to use some old pictures for this post too.
These pictures are all from the family trip to China. Yes, I said China. My cousin had lived there for 4 years so the parents decided it was a once in a lifetime opportunity so we all went. The pictures are from a low angle of different landmarks in Beijing (well all except the first one). That's just proof of our actually being there! Haha
The first picture is of my dad, three sisters, and myself in Tiananmen Square if front of the entrance to the Forbidden City. And of course my dad is holding his fingers up like ears above my head and my older sisters head. He thinks he is just hilarious! Haha I guess he is pretty funny. Lol The next two are from inside the Forbidden City. The last picture is of the Great Wall of China. I felt like these would be a lot more interesting than anything I took today! Lol

From A High Angle
This is a picture of the hubby and me at our college graduation. It was taken at a high angle by the hubby's dad up in the stands right before we walked. I think Kevin is ready! Lol

January
Thunder New Year Eve Basketball Game. Great way to end 2010 and start 2011.
February
The Hubby and I celebrated being together for 6 years together. Crazy to think it has been that long! We also got to spend some quality time together due to the crazy blizzard Oklahoma had! Okay...I know our blizzards aren't the same as others but it was enough to lock us indoors for 2 weeks!
Snow Days with the Puppy and the Hubby!
May
Dallas Trip with my bestie Sarah!
I turned 23 and the Hubby brought home my two favorite treats... chocolate cup cake and chocolate ice-cream! He knows me so well.
And I finished my first and last year of teaching!!
June

First was my close friend Candace's.
Then my friend Katie's.
Katie and her cousin Stormi are the cutest!
Then came Candace's Bachelorette Party!
Wine tasting, dinner, and dancing. So much fun!

July
Weddings and moving all at the same time!
I was honored to be apart of my wonderful friend Candace's wedding! She is an amazing friend and I wish we didn't live so far away from each other! She was a stunning bride!
Then came Katie and Matt's wedding!
Kevin ad I were both thrilled when they asked us to share this exciting day with them. She had it in a gorgeous chapel and picked out the most beautiful dress!
It was such a fun night!
Right before it was time to move my bestie Rach asked me to be apart of her wedding this next June. I can't wait!
August
I started my new job in retail management. I'm so much happier than I was teaching.
My Hubby also had his 25th birthday. I can't believe he is 25!! He was only 18 when we started dating. Crazy!!
This is a picture of us from the summer we started dating. He looks so young! And that hair! haha
I also went to my first NFL game with the Hubby down in Dallas.
December
We celebrated the Holidays with family!
I had an amazing year and can't wait to see what 2012 brings!!
Photo Challenge Day 3
Clouds
I worked all day today... Literally! So I was in the mall before the sun came up and didn't leave until after it had successfully set so instead of taking a picture of the clouds today I figured I would post a picture from my honeymoon with some amazing clouds in it!
Enjoy!

Photo Challenge Day 1
Self Portrait
Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been. ~Mark Twain,Following the Equator
A friendly look, a kindly smile, one good act, and life's worthwhile. ~Author Unknown
A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.
