December 17th, the first Saturday in over 2 months that I actually had off. It was wonderful! And I probably won't get another one off for another 2 months. It was filled with lots of fun, seeing great friends, and getting to check something off of my bucket list.
I started out my day by driving to my favorite small town Stillwater, Oklahoma. I do have a small bias to this wonderful little town since it is where I spent my college years. It's always nice to go back and remember all the fun times I had.
I was going to watch my bestie CP graduate!
I hadn't seen her in over two months so this visit was a must!
I had so much fun catching up with her and watching her walk. It was great to lock arms with another OSU grad and sing the Alma Mater. It is something we did/do at the end of every sports event and graduation. It took me back. I MISS COLLEGE!!
After spending the day with CP I drove back home to go to one of my other friends, Mrs. Money's graduation party.
She is so fun!
Both of these girls did a great job decorating their caps! It makes me wish I had decorated mine when I graduated. Taylor also had the cutest cake! It proudly displayed our beloved Pistol Pete for us Cowboy grads!
Mrs. Money's graduation party was at her uncle's helicopter hanger with just a few close family members and friends. Sounds weird and I'm sure your thinking "a graduation party in a tin building?" but it is nothing like that. This helicopter hanger has an entire apartment upstairs and a full kitchen/bar downstairs. It's a really cool place to have get togethers. If you hadn't figured it out, her uncle has a helicopter hanger because he has his own helicopter! Since there were only about 15 of us there he offered to give rides over the city to look at the Christmas lights. So of course I took up his offer!!
Taylor and I went together and had a blast!
I have always wanted to ride in a helicopter but never really thought I would ever have a chance! One more thing to check off my bucket list. This is the second one that I have checked off with Mrs. Money! Maybe its a sign I need to hang out with her more! :) Love her!
The city was beautiful! I took a dozen pictures or so but I figured I would only post my two favorites! So here they are! Enjoy!
