I watched my nephew all last week and took some cute pics!

I think this first one is my favorite!

These little toys hanging off his carrier jingle and he was so focused on trying to figure out how to get his hand to hit them all week. It was adorable!

Those of you that know me know I LOVE MUSIC. I have never been a big poetry fan but I love the poetry in song lyrics. These are amazing lyrics from one of my favorite songs and I thought I would share them. I wish I knew how to attach a song but you'll just have to deal with the lyrics by themselves.

Puss N Boots

Monday night we had a stay at home movie night and it was just what the doctor ordered! We decided to get a fun kids movie. We were trying to decide between Cars 2 and Puss N Boots. After a hard discussion about which one would be better we picked Puss N Boots. It was a great choice!

I don't know if you have watched this movie or know what its about but it is adorable. It has some great adult humor with amazing animations for kids. I know one kid who loved it! 

I don't know if it was all the purring and meowing or if she really just liked it that much but she was quite taken by it! Haha It made my night!

Blonde Delimma

Lately I have been thinking... Maybe I should go blonde. 

Don't worry, not platinum blonde just a dirty blonde! But I need some help deciding on what I should do or if I should even do it!

 Let me first explain some of my reasons. I have VERY fine strands of hair and not a ton of it. What this means is that no matter how much product I put in it and how much I tease it my hair lays extremely flat or looks ratty. I love my dark hair but if I have any kind of bad hair day with a weird part or a cowlick you can see my pale skin on my head. I know... gross right?! So I was doing some online research trying to figure out how to help with this and everything I found said that lighter hair allows for less of a contrast in the color of your skin to your hair making the skin less noticeable. So I was thinking I would try it out.

Now my hair was a dirty blonde as a child and when I spent a lot of time in the pool during the summer it would actually turn pretty blonde. Here is a picture of more of my natural hair color as of most recent.

I want to say this was from day 3 of our honeymoon. So my color had been basically stripped from the salt water and the sun hadn't affected it too much yet.

I want to say this one is from day 5.... so the sun had definitely had an impact on it. lol

Here are some pictures of what I'm thinking about doing. There are two options. An overall color or one with highlights. 

Option 1: 

Dirty blonde with brown low lights around the base.

I love how it has some of the darker color still in it so I wouldn't be having a drastic blonde change and I feel like I wouldn't have to worry as much about the up keep. If I had to wait an extra week or two between colors it wouldn't be ridiculously obvious. My only fear with this look is that I have to have a "natural" look to my hair with my job. Is this a natural enough look?

Option 2:

All over color

I love both of these. They are the same person so I'm sure they are the same color one is just lit a little different. This would be the same color basically all over so it would definitely be natural looking in that since. I'm just not sure i'm ready to be this blonde. And a lot of times the high lights and low lights can add some depth to your hair that an all over color can't. Which is my problem... thin hair with no depth. haha

Am I Really a Grown Up?

I'm at the point in my life where I keep asking myself 

"Do I really have to be an adult and make all these decisions?"

I don't know about you but sometimes I wish someone else could just make some of my decisions for me. Wasn't it easy being a kid, not having any cares in the world but what to play and did I get my homework done? Wasn't it wonderful?! 

This is a picture of me and two of my sisters. I'm the one on the far right. lol 

The entire time I was younger all I wanted to do was grow up. Have my own place, make my own choices, have a job, and have money to spend. If only I had known! haha I might have spent a little more time on my parents tab. 

Don't get me wrong. I love my life. I have the most amazing, caring, wonderful man to share it with.

He is honestly my best friend and the love of my life. I don't know where I would be without this man. 

I think we both feel this way right now. We don't have any idea where we are heading in life but we do know we are going there together! And for that I am very grateful! 

Rainy Monday

Yesterday was wonderful! It rained all day long! I love rainy days like that. They mean spring is here and everything is about to turn colorful! There were even a few redbud tree's in bloom already. They are my favorite tree because they turn such a beautiful pink/read when they bloom! I can't wait for all the other colors to start popping up... although I am not looking forward to the allergies that they bring with them. 

I normally spend them in under a blanket listening to it but Kevin and I decided to brave the weather and go shopping!

I love shopping with my Hubby! We always have so much fun. This was the bigger bags. We had quite a few smaller bags within them. Like this one...

They just opened up this adorable little candy shop in the mall and so we decided to get some candy. This is more of Kevin's bag...my bag of chocolate wasn't as cute but it is tasty!

We also went to one of our favorite places to get sandwiches, Which Wich. 

This last picture is one I just took. Isn't our fur baby just the cutest?!

Spring Fever

The Monday before last was wonderful! The weather was amazing and it was both Kevin and My day off so we got to spend it together. That will make any day just perfect! I had a ridiculously long to-do list and so we woke up ready to accomplish things. Haha 

We spent the first half of the day checking off things like get my oil changed, stop by the pharmacy, pay my car registration before my car gets toed right in front of my apartment. Yes, they can do that and they put a warning sticker on the hubby's car last month so I didn't want to take any risks with mine. lol After checking off a few more things we decided to take our fur baby on a walk. 

I forget how much I love taking walks in beautiful weather. It's hard to believe that we were both wearing shorts in February! Roxy loved every second of that walk. 

Later we stopped by PetsMart to pick up some food for the puppy and decided to pick out a new color for her. I love it!

I wish I could spend all day everyday with these two!
