Little Saturday Vaca
Saturday was such a great day! Kevin and I both had the day off so we decided to take advantage of it and take a little road trip! It was wonderful!
We started off our day like everyone should on their day off... We slept in! Kevin is normally up and out the door by 5 am so he slept in until 8. I slept in a little later than that but I'm not about to fess up to how much later! Haha we had a relaxing morning and took our time getting ready. I love mornings like that. I feel like Kevin and I get some really good quality time talking and laughing with each other on those kinds of mornings. I wish they all could be like that!
When we were getting hungry we decided to go ahead and start our little road trip to our favorite little college town Stillwater, Oklahoma. You will often hear me refer to it as Stilly and it is the best little town that has the best college, Oklahoma State University.
Car rides are a favorite of mine too. I always thought that I would know I had found the right man when I could spend all day in a car with him and still want to hang out with him later! Haha It can definitely be a test to your relationship! Lol This is what Roxy likes to do on car rides.
Sleeping Puppy. She is so precious!
We hadn't been back to Stilly since February so it was a nice little trip down memory lane! We went to lunch and then stopped by the golf course we both used to work at. It's so weird to go back and see how everything has changed. One thing that hadn't changed is one of my Bestie's still works there!
We'll call her CP. She is the best!
We talked for 2 hours and made plans for me to come see her again on Friday! I love those friends that you have that it doesn't matter how long it's been since you last talked... You can still pick up from right were you left off! I only have a few friends like this and I cherish every single one of them! I can't wait for Friday to see CP again!
When we decided I had stolen her away from work for a little too long Kevin and I got back in the car to head to the in-laws. We hadn't been down to see them in awhile so we went back to our home town to watch some Saturday night football. Since the OSU game didn't start until 9 pm we decided to just stay the night and head back in the morning.
All in all it was a great day because I got to spend all of it with my two favorites Kevin and Roxy. And I got to catch up with a great friend!

Just Another Day on the Job
So today at work was a very interesting day to walk into. My store is a smaller store so we do not have a full-time or lead stock. If you haven't worked in retail the job of the FT or lead stock is to manage the back so receiving and processing shipment, pulling items from backstock to be put out on the floor, etc. Since we don't have one it is my job as the manager to assign sales associates to complete these task while still meeting the expectations that are expected of them out on the floor... In other words MULTI-TASK! :) It really isn't too bad because we are a small store so on average we only receive 1 to 5 boxes a day. NOT THE PAST TWO DAYS! The picture below was what was delivered yesterday... 26 boxes!
I thought this was an insane amount of boxes but little did I know that we would be receiving another 24 boxes today! That's over 2,000 items that have to be scanned, censored, and put out on the floor or folded and put up in the stock room. Pretty sure we will be working on all this for the rest of the week if not into next week! Can't wait to see how many get delivered tomorrow!

"It's OK" Thursday 2
I'm linking up with Amber and Neely again today!
It's OK to write my "It's OK" Thursday post on Wednesday night and just change the post options to actually post it on Thursday. I'm just planning in advance!
It's OK to check the Apple website EVERY DAY just incase they released the launch date for the iphone 5. Yeah...I'll admit...I'm obsessed.
It's OK to look up Louis Vuitton bags online for hours just to see which one you would buy if you could ever afford one. P.S. This is the one I would buy! The Speedy!
It's OK to have a little bit of pure hatred towards your mother for donating your REAL Louis Vuitton bag your great aunt got you when you were little because your mother didn't even know what Louis Vuitton was. (Yeah, not sure I can ever really forgive and forget that.)
It's OK to blare the radio and sing at the top of my lungs when the local radio station plays an 'N Sync song.
It's OK to post a super short blog post because Big Brother just started and that is way more interesting than anything I have to say right now! :)

Loving Life
Right now I am loving life. I am finally feeling comfortable with my new job, getting more motivation to try new things, and just enjoying the time I get to spend with my husband and my puppy.
I had yesterday off so I decided to really enjoy the day. The first thing I did was I decided to take donuts to my husband and his employee's at work.
Daylight donuts are my favorite so I was happy to pick up a chocolate long john for myself when I got theirs. For those that do not know me ...Hello, my name is MaryBeth and I am a chocolate addict. Haha Roxy went with me and she was just as happy to accept the doggy treat they gave her. I have to admit I love places that give out doggy treats to my furbaby!
After that Roxy and I went shopping at PetsMart, Hobby Lobby, Payless Shoes, Sally Beauty Supply, and Shoe Carnival. I have decided that I want to do this fun craft on my next day off so I had to run by Hobby Lobby to look at supplies. If you haven't seen this on Pinterest this is the craft I want to do that I originally saw on the Miss Mommy blog.
The idea is to buy cheap frames and scrapbook paper. I want make it to fill the huge empty space above our headboard in our bedroom. My only frustration is that our bedroom furniture is black so I feel like the frames should be black and therefore the scrapbook paper will have to go well with the black frames. My next day off is Saturday so I'm hoping to find some cute scrapbook paper then so I can get started. I'll post a picture when I finish.
When we went to Sally Beauty Supply I picked up a few hair products and I have already fallen in love with one of them. It's a volume powder and it is amazing. My hair is crazy flat...like literally NO VOLUME! haha If you have this problem I highly suggest you try out Beyond the Zone.
It has been a great addition to my morning hair routine. The rest of the day was spent cleaning and doing chores around the apartment. Which was greatly needed and not a bad way to spend a relaxing day off. At the end of the night I was ready to go to bed and get to work today. The best part about today just started on TV though... season finale of Big Brother...So excited!
EXTRA NOTE!
I am so excited to start this new blog challenge next week that Neely and Amber created. If you want something fun to write about the next two weeks you should join in.
